Tampa Union Station serves as a passenger stop for two passenger trains each day, Amtrak’s New York-Miami Silver Star, trains 91/92. These full service trains offer sleeping cars, coaches, checked baggage, and full dining and lounge car services.
In addition to Miami, cities within Florida served directly from Tampa include Orlando, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, and Fort Lauderdale, as well other intermediate points.
Amtrak Thruway motorcoach services also serve Tampa Union Station. Thruway busses connect Tampa Union Station to Pinellas Park-St. Petersburg, Bradenton, Sarasota, Port Charlotte, and Ft. Myers.
Additional Amtrak Thruway motorcoach services depart Tampa Union Station for connections with trains 97/98, the New York-Miami Silver Meteor.
